DMV Administrative Law
Boston RMV Lawyer
There are essentially two legal proceedings for any offense that impacts your driver’s license, including, motor vehicle offenses and driving under the influence (DUI) charges. The first part involves the court system and the other with the Registry of Motor Vehicles. The Registry of Motor Vehicles will handle the suspension or revocation of a person's license, as well as the reinstatement of the license. The RMV hearing does not substitute for a court hearing and a person is not required to request a RMV hearing. If a person is found innocent or acquitted at trial but their license was suspended or revoked, the RMV will reinstate the license.
We have experience representing clients at both the court level and the RMV level. As former prosecutors, we bring extensive trial experience and a unique insight into the courtroom. Our backgrounds give our clients a great advantage as we work to strategize his or her defense.
